ISHIMA was founded in July 2005, under the D’Amico group. Traditionally a family business in Italy, D’Amico has been operating for over fifty years. Today, ISHIMA manages 25 ships and supervises the construction of seventeen more. The name Ishima is an acronym derived from the phrase International Ship Management.
